The Director of Emergency Management, in conjunction with the Emergency Advisory Committee, has prepared a Municipal Emergency Plan for the Town of Diamond Valley.  This plan was reviewed and approved by Council (May 1, 2019).

Emergency Management Bylaw 2021-08 was passed in 2021 encompassing changes to the Emergency Management Act.

The Alberta Emergency Management Agency has also approved the Alberta Emergency Plan (AEP) 2021, available via the AEMA Government Emergency Plans webpage.
