Traffic Safety
The Town of Diamond Valley is dedicated to promoting traffic safety in every neighbourhood, helping protect drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians while supporting a safe and livable community.
Digital Speed Sign Program
The Town utilizes five digital speed signs positioned throughout the community. These signs:
- Use built-in radar to detect and display vehicle speeds.
- Encourage drivers to self-correct speeding behaviours.
- Help Municipal Enforcement monitor traffic patterns and identify areas of concern.
- Support Civic Operations in planning roadway maintenance and measuring traffic volume.
To increase effectiveness, speed signs are periodically rotated to different locations.
Starting June 2025, monthly traffic data from these signs will be published below.
Future months will be added as they become available.

Report a Traffic Concern
Concerned about recurring speeding or other traffic violations in your neighbourhood?
As part of the Town of Diamond Valley’s Strategic Traffic Enforcement Plan, residents can now submit an online Traffic Service Request. This tool is intended for reporting ongoing traffic issues — such as repeated speeding or stop sign violations — that happen regularly in the same location.
By sharing this information, you help Community Peace Officers focus their efforts where they're needed most.
