ConocoPhillips Canada Resources Corp. is currently conducting long-term remediation of the former Valley Pipe Line tank farm facility in Diamond Valley.  View an image of the work area below. 

This remediation work, initiated in 2006, involves pipeline decommissioning, excavation, and removal of impacted soils, all in accordance with Alberta's Environmental Protection Act and Regulation. The work is being carried out by TerraLogix Solutions Inc., on behalf of ConocoPhillips.

Throughout 2023, specific activities will be taking place, including pipeline locating, soil excavation and removal, and site restoration. Please be aware that during these weekdays, there might be a slight increase in noise and traffic along Madison St and the easterly part of Sunset Blvd. Rest assured, traffic will return to normal upon the project's completion in late fall 2023. We are closely monitoring road conditions and will mitigate dust if necessary. Odour monitoring and mitigation will also be in place during excavation work. Please note that activities will not impact the operating pipelines and associated facilities owned by Crescent Point Energy at this location.
